Data Accessed from Google

Our application uses Google OAuth to access the following Google user data:

• ·Your email address
• ·Your profile name
• ·Your profile picture (if available)

These scopes are requested only to provide core features such as account login and personalization. We request only the minimum Google scopes required for these features.

How We Use Google-User Data

• ·We use your Google-provided email address to uniquely identify your account within our system
• ·We use your profile name to personalize your experience within the app
• ·We use your profile picture to display your avatar in the application

We do not use Google-user data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the core features of the application.

Data Storage and Sharing

We do not store any Google-user data on our servers beyond the minimal identifiers required to maintain your account and session. Any temporary OAuth tokens are handled securely and are not stored permanently. We do not share your Google-user data with any third-party services for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your Google account data is used solely for authentication and providing you with a personalized experience within our application.

What Brainrot Finance stores

• ·Your portfolios: holdings, transactions, groups (platforms and accounts) and base currency
• ·Earlier versions of each portfolio (the last 200), so any change can be undone
• ·Daily snapshots of each portfolio's value, for history and charts

This data is tied to your Brainrot account and only you, and apps you've connected, can read or change it. We don't use it for advertising and we don't sell or share it.

Connected apps (ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and others)

An app can use your Brainrot account only after you sign in and approve it on our consent page. An approved app can read and edit your Brainrot Finance portfolios on your behalf, and keeps that access until you disconnect it at connected apps. We receive the requests the app makes (for example a symbol to quote or a transaction to add); what you type to the app itself is handled by its provider under their own privacy policy.

Market data providers

To get prices we send the symbol, company or currency you ask about (never your account details or portfolio) to market-data sources such as Yahoo Finance, MoneyControl, Remitly, Hiive, Forge Global and Nasdaq Private Market.

Removing it

You can remove transactions or whole portfolios at any time. Deleting your Brainrot account deletes your portfolios, their history and snapshots. Contact us to have any of it removed.

Cookies

We use cookies to understand how you use our services and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser, but some features may not work without them.

Third Parties

Our services may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy policies apply to your use of their services.

Children

Our services aren't for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from kids. If you're a parent and think your child gave us data, contact us immediately.

Data Retention

We keep your data as long as needed for the purposes outlined here, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we securely delete or anonymize it.

International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than yours. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post changes here and update the date. Material changes will be communicated more prominently.
